Hafnium actinic characteristics

The allure of hafnium and zirconium is so agnate that the two cannot be afar on the base of differing actinic reactions. The melting credibility and baking credibility of the compounds and the solubility in solvents are the above differences in the allure of these accompanying elements.

Like its sister metal zirconium, cautiously disconnected hafnium can burn spontaneously in air, bearing an aftereffect agnate to that acquired in Dragon's Breath. The metal is aggressive to concentrated alkalis.

Hafnium reacts in air to anatomy a careful blur that inhibits added corrosion. The metal is not readily attacked by acids but can be breakable with halogens or it can be burnt in air.
