Piracetam
is a nootropic biologic in the racetams group, with actinic name
2-oxo-1-pyrrolidine acetamide. It shares the aforementioned 2-oxo-pyrrolidone
abject anatomy with pyroglutamic acid. Piracetam is a circadian acquired of
GABA. In the United States, it is not accustomed by the US Food and Biologic
Administration for any medical use and it is not acceptable to be awash as a
comestible supplement. In the UK, piracetam is assigned mainly for myoclonus,
but is used off-label for added conditions. Evidence to abutment its use for
abounding altitude is unclear.
